a few months later (around September 2020), I could suddenly no longer open MSI Dragon Center. They've changed some of the app code and probably didn't think about people who have removed bad components of the app. Update: A few months later I had an issue, which is possibly related to my "uninstall bloated, useless modules" tweak, or possibly was just a general bug in MSI Dragon Center. If those 3 things are fixed, this would be a very de-bloated, lovely little app.

Make it possible to uninstall the Gaming Mode module.Make it possible to uninstall the User Scenario module.Add a dropdown to the Scenario menu at the top of the menu, which says "(Disabled)", so that people don't have to be confused about how to disable the crapware profiles.PS, if MSI reads this, here's my Wishlist for Dragon Center fixes: Just wish we could totally delete Gaming Mode and User Scenarios too, since I don't use them at all and have disabled both. Removing Game Highlights will get rid of the stupid game-clips service that nobody uses. Removing True Color will prevent the app from inserting retarded color modifications that mess up your screen colors. For example, removing the retarded LAN Manager will make your internet more stable.

I also hope some people are helped by my advice about uninstalling Dragon Center modules above, which really de-bloats the app a lot. HOLY SHIT FUCKING FINALLY! THIS HAS BEEN STRESSING ME OUT FOR DAYS! Now I can happily use my computer without Dragon Center's fucking conflicting bloat. This action disables the scenarios completely. :-/Įdit: OH GOD I FOUND THE ANSWER AFTER MAKING THIS THREAD! Just go to User Scenarios, and if any of them are glowing, CLICK ITS ICON again to make it not glow (you must do it this way, you cannot disable them via the Scenario dropdown menu at the top of the GUI). But really wish I could delete the stupid Gaming Mode (just some retarded color filters) and the User Scenarios too. I deleted everything except Mystic Light and Graphics Fan Tool. PS: You can delete MOST modules in Dragon Center by going to the Support icon, then to System Info, then pressing "Scan", and then clicking the trash can next to some of the modules. And I want to handle the graphics card via MSI Afterburner instead!Ĭan I completely disable Dragon Center's CPU/RAM/GPU "User Scenarios"? I don't want Dragon Center to mess with/conflict with my CPU, fans, RAM, graphics card, etc! I just want to use it for its MSI RGB controls and its MSI driver update-checker! Sigh. The scenarios contain settings for CPU frequency, DRAM voltage/timings, Graphics card frequency, etc.īut I want to handle all of that via the MUCH BETTER Ryzen Master application by AMD instead. MSI's Dragon Center forces us to select a User Scenario.
